What does it takes to be a leader? Skill, intelligence, discipline?  Based on a study at the University of California, Berkeley what it takes is talk. In small groups of subjects tasked with working together on a project, the students who emerged as the leaders weren’t the ones with the best answers, or the most knowledge - they were simply the ones who talked a lot. So if you’re quietly waiting for your hard work to be noticed, it’s time for a new strategy: speak up.
